A Rubber Ducky Regatta will highlight a day of activities planned for the 30th Annual Super Saturday celebration at the South Middleton Township Park on July 31. Race time is 2:00 pm. Cash prizes will be awarded to the winning ducks: $200 for first place, $150 for second place, $100 for third place, $50 for fourth place and a surprise gift for last place. Ducks are available for “adoption” at the South Middleton Township Parks and Recreation office and on the day of the race. Single ducks are $5, with a five-duck “Quack Pack” available for $20. Ticket holders do not need to be present to win. Funds raised benefit the Friends of South Middleton Parks, Trees and Trails, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving and expanding the greenways and trails system in South Middleton Township.
