Showcase Home
This year’s Showcase Home is an expansive 2500 sq. ft., “farmhouse” style home that greets you with an inviting wrap-around porch. Inside, the open design is punctuated with a beautiful stone fireplace; the master bedroom suite, one of three bedrooms, includes a corner shower and a pampering tub/spa. During the Show, the home will be fully decorated, landscaped and open for you to tour.
Garden Faire
One of the show's most popular exhibits returns with beautiful landscaping displays and gardening ideas this year in its new home, the Equine Center along with the Showcase Home.
Log Home Showcase
A home, a get-away, an adventure, a dream...log homes evoke so much emotion and present so many possibilities. This year’s Log Home Showcase in the Equine Arena features all the enticing styles, floor plans and amenities of log-home living surrounding our Showcase Home.
Go Green
What is “green” anyway? It can be conservation of natural resources through recycling, trying to stretch your dollars through energy efficiency, using renewable resources, even using products that are healthier to you and your home. Come find new ways to define “green” for yourself in the center of the Exposition Center.

Builder of the Day
If you’ve ever considered a new home, now you have the opportunity to find out what’s involved, what are the benefits in comfort, in space utilization, in efficiency in lifestyle for you and your family. Our Builder Of The Day is your resource for information, ideas and advice; a resource steeped in the art and science of new home construction. Exhibits are placed at the entrance to the Marketplace in booths 1000 to 1002.
Canstruction
Ten teams of Central PA architects, engineers, designers, contractors, and students compete in a design-build event; designing and building delightfully creative structures made entirely from canned goods in the NorthEast corner of the Exposition Center.
With the help of GIANT Food Stores, this event spotlights the need to care for the hungry in our region. The food banks and pantries of Central Pennsylvania benefit from this spectacular show sponsored by the Central PA Chapter of the Society for Marketing Professional Services, The American Institute of Architects, The Society of Design Administration, along with the Home Builders Association of Metropolitan Harrisburg.
